ERIKA REYES is a Mexican American artist and graphic designer born in Gainesville, Georgia. She began her artistic journey at a young age showcasing her artwork in exhibitions, including the “Quinlan Youth Art Show” at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center and Variety Shows in Flowery Branch, GA. Reyes has explored graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, ink, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and digital mediums. Her landscapes, still lifes, and portraiture work often deal with self, familiarity, and family.

Reyes’ interest in graphic design was ignited at the age of 17, when she took her very first design course. That same year, Reyes placed 1st at Regionals and 3rd at State at the Georgia Student Technology Competition for the Graphic Design category. She began her online shop where she sold original pieces as well as produced prints, apparel, pins, and stickers. She went on to continue her education at the University of North Georgia where she found herself drawn to brand identity, packaging, type, and publication design. Reyes has earned an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design degree in the Fall of 2023.
